RG kar case:Bengal Chief Secretary to meet again with protesting physicians:
Another round of discussions between the West Bengal Junior Doctors' Forum (WBJDF) and Chief Secretary Manoj Pant is scheduled for 6:30 pm on Wednesday at the state secretariat, Nabanna. The talks will focus on addressing the forum's pending demands, which have yet to be resolved.
The junior doctors have been protesting following the horrific rape and murder of a colleague from the RG Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata last month.

Second round of discussions between the Bengali government and agitated junior doctors is expected to begin:
The upcoming meeting marks the second round of discussions between the protesting doctors and the state government within 48 hours, the first having taken place on Monday with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in attendance.
"As you know, several districts in South Bengal are experiencing flood-like conditions, with extensive areas submerged.
"In light of this, we once again urge you to resume your duties in the broader public interest and provide essential services to the people. Myself, along with the other task force members, will meet your 30-member delegation today at 6:30 pm at Nabanna Sabhaghar," Pant's email, sent at 2:49 pm, read.
Earlier, the junior doctors had written to the chief secretary, requesting a dialogue on "key unresolved issues," such as hospital security, as a condition for ending their sit-in protest outside the state health department headquarters.
Following their general body meeting, which concluded early Wednesday morning, the doctors followed up with an email at 11:19 am, reiterating their stance.
